Privacy
Memory Lake is built to protect the records, memories, templates, and settings you create. This page explains what is stored, how your data is protected, and how to request help.
What We Collect and Why
- Email address to create your account and deliver sign-in codes.
- Memories, records, templates, and settings you create so the app can store, sync, and display your data.
- Authentication tokens and encryption keys stored on your device to keep you signed in and protect local storage.
- Network reachability checks used to decide when to sync.
Security
Local data is stored in an encrypted database, with keys stored in secure device storage. Without the device key, the local files are unreadable.
Encrypted Cloud Memories
The app supports encrypted cloud memories using a master key stored on the device and a per-memory key sent with requests when encryption is enabled.
User-provided key provisioning is planned. This statement will be updated when that ships.
Logs
We do not collect or transmit app logs. Logs stay on device and are only shared if you explicitly export them.
